Uyen “Winnie” Phan
LPC - Associate
Therapist
Winnie believes that therapy is not about "fixing" someone - but rather reclaiming who they have always been. As a second generation Asian-American therapist, she is passionate about helping others discover their most authentic self in the perspective of one's cultural backgrounds.
Winnie is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate, graduated with her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. She is fluent in both English and Vietnamese. Winnie works primarily with adults and adolescents, age 13 and up. Using an eclectic approach of different therapy modalities to tailor to your needs, she has experience working with those struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Winnie also has special interests in working with women's issues, sexual trauma, and intergenerational trauma.
Winnie is passionate about creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space for people to reclaim their voices and rediscover their resilience. What she loves most about being a therapist is witnessing those powerful moments when someone feels safe enough to tell their story. Even braver moments when they begin to rewrite it.
