Therapist
Therapy is not a one-size fits all experience nor should it feel that way. In our sessions, I strive to create a safe environment of openness, authenticity, and acceptance where vulnerability isn’t intimidating. We work collaboratively whether you’re exploring who you are, seeking support as you navigate life transitions or other concerns, such as anxiety, depression, or relational issues. As a therapist, my approach is adaptable focusing on your needs at each point of the therapeutic journey. I am committed to your needs and meeting you where you are at each point of your journey towards change, growth, and healing.
My clinical work has focused on working with LGBTQ+ youth and young adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem issues, among various other topics. Utilizing an approach that is trauma-informed and affirming, I operate from a new-wave feminist framework that aims to empower my clients throughout their therapeutic experience. Operating from this framework, allows me to create a more balanced therapeutic relationship that considers the client’s intersectionality, while also challenging societal and systemic imbalances that may contribute to client struggles. As a therapist of color, I am passionate about advocating and de-stigmatizing mental health issues by fostering a safe and supportive environment for people of all backgrounds.
My aim for our sessions is to create a warm, non-judgmental, and affirming safe space for my clients to be their authentic selves. If my therapy style resonates with you, please reach out to me as I’d love to hear more about you and your story.
